Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE B-’ (read as ACUITE B minus) from 'ACUITE B' (read as ACUITE B) on the Rs. 5.00 crore bank facilities of T M Chandrashekhara Naik (TMCN) on account of information risk. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

Incorporated in 2011, T M Chandrashekhara Naik (TMCN) is a Bangalore based proprietorship firm promoted by Mr T M Chandrashekhara Naik. The Firm is engaged in the solar power generation business. The firm plans to install a 1 MW unit in Bangalore at a project cost of Rs.6.75 crore to be funded by a term loan of Rs.5.00 crore and equity contribution of Rs.1.75 crore. Power generation at the plant is expected to commence from October 2016.
