Rating Rationale

Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE B-’ (read as ACUITE B minus) from 'ACUITE B' (read as ACUITE B) on the Rs. 10.00 crore bank facilities of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Parboiled Modern Rice Mill on account of information risk. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

Established in 1985 as a partnership firm, Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Parboiled Modern Rice Mill (SSSP) is engaged in milling of paddy and processing of boiled and raw rice. Based in Suryapet district (Telangana), the firm is promoted and managed by Mr. G Prabhakar. The firm procures paddy from the farmers and sells it to the trader in the states of Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka. The firm also sells to traders meant for exporting milled rice. The firm also caters to milling for the government for it receives milling charges.
