Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE B-’ (read as ACUITE B minus) from 'ACUITE B' (read as ACUITE B) on the Rs.45.00 crore bank facilities of Shri Ram Rice Unit on account of information risk. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

Established in 1997, Shri Ram Rice Unit (SRRU) is a Karnal (Haryana) based partnership concern engaged in the milling and processing of basmati and non-basmati rice. The firm is being promoted by Mr. Sadhu Ram, Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Mr. Sanjay Kumar and Mr. Vijay Kumar. The firm has an installed capacity of 8 metric tons of rice per hour.
