Rating Rationale

Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE B-’ (read as ACUITE B minus) from 'ACUITE B' (read as ACUITE B) and reaffirmed the short term rating of ‘ACUITE A4’ (read as ACUITE A four) on the Rs. 15.30 crore bank facilities of P and R Gurdittiwala Hydro Power Limited on account of information risk. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

P and R Gurdittiwala Hydro Power Limited was incorporated in 2014, by Ms. Pardeep Kaur and Mr. Jagbir Singh. The company was incorporated as an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) to undertake a 2 MW hydropower project in Punjab. Since then, it is engaged in the business of running a hydropower plant on the Ferozpur Canal.
