Rating Rationale

Acuite has downgraded and withdrawn its long-term rating to “ACUITE BB+” (read as ACUITE double B plus) from “ACUITE A-” (read as ACUITE A minus) and short term rating to “ACUITE A4+” (read as ACUITE A four plus) from “ACUITE A2+” (read as ACUITE A two plus) on the Rs.849.19 Cr. bank loan facilities of Pushpit Steels Private Limited. The rating has been downgraded on account of information risk. The rating has been withdrawn on account of the request received from the issuer along with no objection certificate received from the lenders as per Acuité's policy on withdrawal of ratings as applicable to the respective facility / instrument.

Further, Acuite has withdrawn its short-term rating on the bank loan facilities of Rs.25.00 Cr. without assigning any rating as the instrument is fully repaid of Pushpit Steels Private Limited. The rating has been withdrawn on account of the request received from the issuer along with no dues certificate received from the lenders as per Acuité's policy on withdrawal of ratings as applicable to the respective facility / instrument.

Acuite has also withdrawn the short-term rating on the bank loan facilities of Rs.2.50 Cr. without assigning any rating, as it is a proposed facility of Pushpit Steels Private Limited. The rating has been withdrawn on account of the request received from the issuer as per Acuité's policy on withdrawal of ratings as applicable to the respective facility / instrument.
The rating is now flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

Incorporated in 1997, Pushpit Steels Private Limited (PSPL) is engaged in the manufacturing of M.S. billets, sponge iron, and thermo-mechanicaly treated (TMT) bars with its manufacturing facility in Srikalahasthi, Chittoor Dt., Andhra Pradesh. The day-to-day operations are managed by Mr. Vinod Garg, Mr. Navratan Satyanarayan Gour, and Mr. Sandeep Agarwal.

About the Group

The Pushpit group comprises Pushpit Steels Private Limited (PSPL) and Pulkit Metals Private Limited (PMPL). Pulkit Metals Private Limited was incorporated in 2010 with a manufacturing plant located in Pondicherry and is engaged in the manufacturing of M.S. billets and thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars. Pushpit Steels Private Limited was incorporated in 1997 with a manufacturing plant located in Srikalahasthi, Chittor District, in Andhra Pradesh, and is engaged in the manufacturing of M.S. billets, sponge iron, and thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars. The day-to-day operations of both companies are managed by Mr. Vinod Garg, Mr. Navratan Satyanarayan Gour, and Mr. Sandeep Agarwal.
