Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE B’ (read as ACUITE B) from 'ACUITE B+' (read as ACUITE B plus) and reaffirmed the short term rating of ‘ACUITE A4’ (read as ACUITE A four) on the Rs. 56.00 crore bank facilities of Mohan Energy Corporation Private Limited (MEPL) on account of information risk. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

Mohan Energy Corporation Private Limited (MEPL) incorporated on 12 May 2006 and registered office in Delhi, directed by Amitabh Agarawal, Mohan Puri and Neeru Puri undertakes turnkey projects in the power sector. The company provides services related to lying of transmission lines and setting up power substations. Further, it also undertakes solar electrification and wind power projects.
