Rating Rationale

Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE B’ (read as ACUITE B) from 'ACUITE B+' (read as ACUITE B plus) and reaffirmed the short term rating of ‘ACUITE A4’ (read as ACUITE A four) on the Rs. 7.50 crore bank facilities of Mellcon Engineers Private Limited (MEPL) on account of information risk. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

Mellcon Engineers Private Limited, established in 1986, is a New Delhi-based company promoted by Mr. Rakesh Kalia and Mr. Santosh Kalia. The company is engaged in the manufacture of air dryers, refrigeration equipment and gas generators at Greater Noida.
