Healthy profitability despite moderation in revenue
The company's profitability improved during FY2026 despite a moderation in its reported revenue, with EBITDA margins increasing to 10.06 percent in FY2026 (Prov.) from 8.62 percent in FY2025 and PAT margins improving to 5.01 percent from 4.44 percent over the same period. The healthy profitability was supported by the presence of price escalation clauses for major raw materials, which partially mitigated the impact of input cost fluctuations. However, revenue moderated to Rs. 556.87 crore (Prov.) in FY2026 from Rs. 582.58 crore in FY2025. Nevertheless, the company reported revenue of Rs. 161.49 crore in 3MFY2027, indicating healthy execution momentum. Comfortable financial risk profile
The company's financial risk profile remains comfortable, supported by a tangible net worth of Rs. 172.72 crore as on March 31, 2026 (Prov.), as against Rs. 144.89 crore as on March 31, 2025. The improvement was driven by accretion of profits to reserves and the treatment of subordinated unsecured loans amounting to Rs. 23.21 crore as quasi equity. Total debt increased to Rs. 213.14 crore in FY2026 (Prov.) from Rs. 113.90 crore in FY2025, primarily on account of higher working capital borrowings to support the growing scale of operations. Consequently, the gearing and TOL/TNW ratios moderated to 1.23 times and 1.64 times, respectively, as on March 31, 2026 (Prov.), against 0.79 times and 1.32 times in the previous year. Nevertheless, the debt protection metrics remained comfortable, with ISCR and DSCR at 3.89 times and 1.19 times, respectively, in FY2026 (Prov.). Further, the company's working capital limits have been enhanced in FY27 to support the growing scale of operations and the associated increase in working capital requirements. Acuité believes that the financial risk profile will remain healthy over the near to medium term in the absence of any significant debt-funded capital expenditure. However, the company's ability to efficiently manage its working capital requirements while maintaining healthy leverage and debt protection metrics will remain a key monitorable.
