Rating Rationale |
|
Acuite has upgraded the long term rating of 'ACUITE A+' (read as ACUITE A Plus) from 'ACUITE A' (read as ACUITE A) and short term rating of 'ACUITE A1+' (read as ACUITE A one plus) from 'ACUITE A1' (read as ACUITE A one) on Rs.550.50 crores banking facilities of Enpro Industries Private limited(EIPL). The Outlook remain 'Stable'.
Acuite has assigned the short term rating of 'ACUITE A1+' (read as ACUITE A one plus) on Rs,29.50 crores bank facilities of Enpro Industries Private limited(EIPL). Rationale for Upgrade: The rating upgrade reflects the group's significant improvement in scale of operations, with revenue increasing to Rs. 1,125.24 crore in FY2026 (Prov.) from Rs. 797.90 crore in FY2025, driven primarily by higher realizations from lubricated seals. The rating also factors in the group's strong export profile, with around 83% of total revenue derived from exports, primarily to the Middle East, Europe, and the USA. Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties, the group has demonstrated resilience through diversification of its export revenues across European markets. Although EBITDA margins moderated in FY2026 (Prov.) compared to FY2025,. The decline was mainly due to FY2025 being an exceptional year supported by higher-margin products. The group's financial risk profile continues to remain strong, supported by healthy net worth, low gearing, and comfortable debt protection metrics. While the working capital cycle remained intensive, it improved to 338 days in FY2026 (Prov.) from 387 days in FY2025, primarily due to lower inventory holding levels.Liquidity remained strong, with net cash accruals of Rs. 251.12 crore in FY2026 (Prov.) against long-term debt repayments of Rs. 29.75 crore during the year. Additionally, cash and bank balances of Rs. 53.33 crore and liquid investments of Rs. 26.75 crore in SBI Mutual Fund provides further financial flexibility. Fund-based working capital utilization remained moderate at around 40% for the six months ended May 2026. Acuité believes that, despite geopolitical tensions, the group's scale of operations is likely to remain sustained in the medium term, supported by its outstanding order book of Rs. 1,094 crore; however, efficient management of working capital will remain a key monitorable. |

| About the Group |
|
During FY2022-23, Enpro Industries Private Limited (EIPL) entered into a joint venture agreement with Bandariyah International Company (BICIND) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pursuant to which Enpro Saudi Arabia Limited (ESAL) was incorporated. EIPL initially held a 60% equity stake in ESAL and invested SAR 600,000 , which was utilized to meet financial commitments towards machinery and raw material suppliers. | Experienced Management |
| Weaknesses |
| Intensive albeit improving working capital cycle:
The group's working capital cycle, although remaining intensive, improved to 338 days in FY26 (Prov.) from 387 days in FY25, primarily driven by a reduction in inventory holding period. Inventory days improved to 207 days in FY26 (Prov.) from 298 days in FY25 owing to a change in the procurement policy, whereby the group shifted from procuring the entire requirement of parts at one time to purchasing materials on an as-needed basis. Debtor days stood at 145 days in FY26 (Prov.) as against 137 days in FY25, in line with the group's average collection period of 90-120 days and the credit terms extended to customers. The group generally receives around 20% advance from customers, with the balance amount collected upon dispatch of goods to the final destination. However, other current assets increased to Rs. 104.96 crore in FY26 (Prov.) from Rs. 100.26 crore in FY25, mainly due to higher GST ITC receivables. Creditor days also improved to 28 days in FY26 (Prov.) from 86 days in FY25, supported by the revised procurement strategy. Acuité believes that the group's working capital cycle is likely to witness further improvement over the medium term, supported by better inventory management practices and continuous monitoring of the collection mechanism. |
