Rationale for Downgrade
The rating downgrade is based on the CIC database, wherein the account appears in the SuitFiled/Defaulters List (Rs. 1 crore and above) for June 2026 for a few lenders. In addition, based on the current stress indicators and the consistent delinquency reported across multiple lenders, the probability of default for the remaining lenders is very high. Although for few lenders no proof of default is available but there exists a chance of imminent case of default for these lenders.
