Rating Rationale

Acuité has downgraded the long-term rating to ‘ACUITE D’ (read as ACUITE D) from 'ACUITE B' (read as ACUITE B) on the Rs. 6.40 crore bank facilities of Arihant Traders.

The downgrade is based on DRT (Debts Recovery Tribunal) notice under section 25 to 28 that there were delay occurred in the recovery process due to the issuance of the recovery certificate and subsequent legal proceedings. The DRT resolution mandates the debtor to pay the dues within 15 days, failing which recovery will be enforced through legal channels. The rating continues to be flagged as “Issuer Not Cooperating” and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

The New Delhi-based, Arihant Traders (AT), established in 2011 was promoted by Mr Jitender. The firm is engaged in the trading of hardware, glass and safety equipments.
