­Acuite has withdrawn its long-term rating on Rs. 16.00 Cr. bank facilities of Steag O&M Company Private Limited (SOMC) without assigning any rating as it is a proposed facility.  The rating has been withdrawn on account of a request received from the issuer. The rating withdrawal is in accordance with Acuité's policy on withdrawal of rating as applicable to the respective facility / instrument. The rating is now flagged as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” on account of information risk and is based on the best available information.

About the Company

­Incorporated on 7th February 2012, Steag O&M Company Private Limited is a JV between Steag Energy Services (India) Private Limited and Hinduja Energy (India) Limited with equity participation of 51% and 49% respectively. The company provides end-to-end operation, maintenance, and control room services for thermal power plants and other industrial energy facilities. The company is based in Visakhapatnam.
